Wairarapa is filled with activities for both young and old alike.

The area is famed for its boutique wineries and its food. There are many high quality restaurants and many Wellingtonians take the journey over the Rimutaka Hill to enjoy the fine fayre that is available in the towns of Greytown and Martinborough.

There is plenty of good walking to be had nearby with the Waiohine Gorge on our doorstep and Mount Holdsworth a short car ride away.

The coastal Wairarpa areas are extremely beautiful and you can see seals at Cape Palliser and the lighthouse at Castle Point. You can also visit Riversdale Beach, Lake Ferry and Ocean Beach if you fancy a day by the sea.
